God has given Hilltop Baptist Church the opportunity to have the ministry of Hilltop Christian Academy where your child can be taught the things necessary to be a God-honoring adult. Our desire is to see young people grow spiritually, socially, and academically so that they may be equipped to do what God has planned for them. We are excited about the opportunity that God has given us to train youth into men and women for Him.
Since walking as a Christian adult is a rewarding, but sometimes challenging road, the training to become a Christian adult can involve the same. As a child grows and learns in HCA, there will be times when they are challenged to apply things that they have learned both Biblically and academically. All of us know that many times when we face a challenge we want to choose the easy way rather than the right way. When this happens with a child we look forward to seeing your encouragement for them to do the right thing.
Hilltop Baptist Church has established the school on the Bible, its doctrine, and standards. These will of course be taught and upheld in the school. If a student should go against these things, they will be dealt with in love and justice. We will not allow one student to prevent another from reaching their potential as a Christian adult or to damage the testimony of this ministry.
Our goal is to be an assistant to parents in training their children for the Christian life. We anticipate great things for each student in the days ahead as they learn to follow Christ.
Our Staff
Every staff member is a born-again, active member of the Hilltop Baptist Church. The HCA staff is composed of godly men and women that love young people. Each individual on staff here has a desire to see children learn and grow both academically and spiritually.
Our Curriculum
ACE / School of Tomorrow is the core curriculum used at Hilltop Christian Academy. This is supplemented by other curriculum such as, Landmark Freedom Baptist Curriculum, hands-on labs, and some traditional classes. Every area of a student's education at Hilltop is centered on the Word of God.
Our Stand
Hilltop Christian Academy is a ministry of Hilltop Baptist Church. As such we hold to and teach the doctrine held by the church since its establishment in 1844. This also places the academy under the authority of the Pastor of Hilltop Baptist Church.
Our Students
The students attending HCA are taught Bible truth and character and are expected to live by what they are taught. Every student is given room to grow while being challenged to mature into the godly adult that the Lord Jesus wants them to be.
The ACE Curriculum:A.C.E. is a curriculum designed as a Biblically based educational program geared to meet the learning needs of individual children. This program consists of self-instructional, character-building, individually prescribed, mastery-based, curriculum and material. The educational concept of A.C.E. has been built on five basic laws of learning:
Students must be at levels where they can perform.
Students must set reasonable goals.
Students must be controlled and motivated.
Learning must be measurable.
