If a Local New Testament Church is indeed “His Church”, it must be established only upon the foundational principles of the written Word of God.
In Matthew 16:18 in the King James Bible, the Lord Jesus made this declaration. “… upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Concerning that church, Jesus Christ, the Living Word of God in flesh also affirmed, through the Apostle Paul in I Timothy 3:15 KJB, “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”
- If a church claims to belong to Jesus, and uses false and perverted versions of a bible; that church can not honestly claim to be one of His.
- If the doctrine of a church does not line up with the same doctrine of “…the faith which was once delivered unto the saints…” (Jude 3 KJB) by Jesus Christ, it can not honestly claim to be one of His churches.
As it is true that “Truth can not have two differing versions of itself,” the words of the Bible which God said He would “…preserve…” in Psalms 12:6-7 KJB, also can not have two differing or conflicting versions.
The kind of Churches that Jesus said He would build, are still alive and moving forward upon the truth.
Can the church you attend honestly say that it is one of the churches Jesus said He would build?
Come and be a part of a church that is honestly one of His churches, and is being built upon the “…rock…” spoken of by the Lord Jesus; and “…that Rock was Christ.”
